Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions have been made in accordance with Singapore legislation and regulations.

In these terms the following terminology applies. Any reference made to ‘LCS’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’ means Landmark Community Services, whose registered office is at 432, #02-01, Serangoon Road 218130.  Any reference to ‘you’, ‘your’, ‘user’ means the person visiting our website and you hereby accepts our terms and conditions. Any reference to ‘shop’ means our online shop accessed via http://landmark.org.sg. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

These terms and conditions will take effect upon your first visit, and your use of the site means that you accept these terms and conditions. As the sites owner, Landmark Community Services reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any point, so please read them carefully and check them regularly.

In relation to any other terms stated on this website which are in conflict with the terms found here, then the latter shall prevail.

The Site

Landmark Community Services website has been developed taking every precaution to ensure the information and content held on this website is accurate in Singapore, legally correct and ethical at the time of appearance. Although care has been taken in preparing the information and content contained on this website it is general information. Therefore, we recommend users also seek alternative professional advice where appropriate and where necessary contact us for more information.


So far as permitted by law, Landmark Community Services accepts no liability for loss or damage, including but not limited to personal injury, resulting from the use of this website. While we make and have made all reasonable efforts to ensure no malware or viruses are transmitted via our website, this cannot be guaranteed. Landmark Community Services will not accept liability from damage caused by viruses or malware or by any other means, save where legally unenforceable and recommends that users safeguard their IT equipment before downloading information and using this website.

We clarify that the content of this website is aimed at adults within Singapore and worldwide.

Unauthorised access

Any hacking into this website for the purpose of adding to or altering the content of the website or tampering, or sending unsolicited deliverables (e.g. spam, data packets), or transmitting any offensive or illegal content, and interfering with the general working of the site is illegal and unethical.

Using our logos, images and information

The Landmark Community Services logo and other logos used by us are legally registered trademarks in Singapore. You may not use Landmark Community Services’s logos without our prior consent. To apply for permission please contact us. Landmark Community Services reserves the right to require materials and logos to be removed from use if we believe it is not in our society’s interest.

Our leaflets and brochures and our webpages can be printed, copied and used for private use, study or teaching purposes; however no modification may be made to the content. They may not be used for commercial, public or any other purposes without the consent of Landmark Community Services.

There may be various information, materials or photos on our website that may be the property of another copyright owner, they are used on our website with their permission, and must not be used without their consent.

Landmark Community Services reserves the right to require links to be removed if we believe it is not in our charity’s interest.


We have provided links to other organisations for your convenience. We cannot guarantee or be responsible for their content or accessibility. Please read their privacy policies and terms and conditions.

Data Protection

Your data will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act of Singapore and will only be used to keep you informed about our fundraising, activities, events and services. We will not share your information with any third party organisations except where such transfer is a necessary part of our activities, or we are required to do so by operation of law.

One off mobile donation

You must obtain permission from the bill payer. You must be 16 years old or over , unless stated otherwise above in relation to a specific campaign. Landmark Community Services does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, malfunction, congestion, capacity issues or any other problem with any telephone, telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any information being lost, delayed or not properly received and recorded. There is no limit on the number of times you may make a donation but there is a monthly limit of $100 on monthly donations. You will not be able to donate more from the same number on the same month, but you may still incur your standard data charges if you try.

You can donate from a Singapore SingTel and StarHub Postpaid mobile only. If you donate using this service from a Singapore mobile outside Singapore, you may incur additional data roaming charges.

Tax Relief

Donations made to an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC) or the Singapore Government for causes that benefit the local community are deductible donations.

Not all registered charities are approved IPCs. Donations made to a charity without approved IPC status are not tax-deductible.

We are registered society with Registry of Society and we have not attained IPC status as per the last update of Terms and Conditions.
